We are a collective of local business owners, residents, artists and concerned citizens who live and work in Berkeley Springs West Virginia. We love West Virginia and our home in Berkeley Springs.
However we cannot ignore that white nationalist extremists of VDARE who have come to disrupt our quiet town by declaring it the Headquarters of the white race. Since VDARE has moved to our lovely town there has been an increased amount of dangerous extremists who they have invited to Berkeley Springs to visit them in their castle. From open Neo-Nazis to Holocaust deniers VDARE has done nothing but try to destroy what makes Berkeley Springs great.
On February 20th 2020 the white nationalist extremist group known as VDARE bought the Samuel Taylor Suit Cottage.
When VDARE moved their headquarters to our little town of Berkeley Springs WV we were hoping they would respect our friendly and welcoming culture. This has not been the case. Peter and Lydia have aggressively sued anyone and everyone who disagrees with them. Creating an environment of fear that you could be next if you dear speak out about them or even slightly disagree with them. Many locals have paid the price already by becoming the victims of VDARE's aggressive abuse of the legal system.
From Connecticut to Colorado many local communities have rejected VDARE and their message of white nationalism and hate they bring with them. America is a nation of immigrants, Peter Brimelow, an British immigrant himself should know this. But for some reason (maybe he thinks the USA is still a British colony?) he cannot help but demand that he should be allowed to immigrate to the USA as he has, but brown and black people should be banned. Such racist hypocrisy is highly transparent, pathetic, and un-American.
Since Connecticut and Colorado have both rejected the Brimelow anti-American message of hate he has chosen to try to come to West Virginia, thinking that we Mountaineers are gullible enough to fall for his scam. Instead of accepting our local culture of solidarity and respect for our neighbors he wishes to twist the area to fit his needs. If Peter thinks this will work he needs to have a reality check. We community members of Berkeley Springs WV reject Peter & Lydia's hateful messages and their illegal 501(c)(3) that engages in overt political activity.
